Flaar 18 - Pirat of the 21st century
"Based on the original idea, using the knowledge and materials from the 21st century"
The aim was to design a modern boat with heavy centerboard, which has all the best properties of the popular Pirat class. The boat is easy to handle, but fun to sail for experienced sailors as well.
The weight of the boat including the 22 kg of lead in the centerboard is only 180 kg, makes it easy to transport.
