FLAAR Ltd.

The Flaar Ltd. was founded in January 2007. The aim of our company is to design, develop and build high performance daysailers and racing boats. In order to ensure the highest technological level, all boats are made of carbon fiber reinforced epoxy resin.

In our design portfolio there are racing boat from the small IOM class RC boat up to the 33 feet all-carbon racer.

We are really interested in the offshore open classes like Mini Transat, Open 40, Open 60. The Flaar 20, our small all-carbon racer with canting keel was inspired by these classes. Another design motivated by these types of boats is the 8m all-carbon racer designed together and built for Nandor Fa (Vendée Globe skipper in 1992/93 and 1996/97).

Besides sailing boat, we are ready to design, develop and produce almost any fiber reinforced composite parts and products preferably those reinforced with carbon fiber. We produce male and female moulds and plugs as well, for wich our CNC milling machine with a medium envelope is of big advantage.
